A perfect few days away - fantastic sights and experiences. Lovely breakfast - fresh orange juice; pastries; bread - and good coffee. The staff were really helpful and friendly. There are lots of places to have breakfast; outside room, downstairs, or on roof terrace. We could not have wished for a better location - and local shops were super friendly. We were a mother and daughter staying in the city - we found people to be very respectful, non pushy when selling - and you had an opportunity to look at things without feeling hassled. We had a great time and laughed a lot when bartering for shopping. We took a bottle of gin and we were provided with ice each evening! Taxi to airport was booked for us. We loved everything about this place.

Staff is going out of their way to make you feel welcomed and simplify your life during your stay.
I had an amazing stay. Abdul and his colleague (didn t' get the name of the lady who was there during the day were extremely helpful throughout my stay, from beginning to the end. I didn t' expect so much hospitality and generosity.

The people were very friendly and accommodating. We had a problem with the air conditioner but it was fixed the next day. There was no problem getting washing dry overnight up on the terrace. It was a small quiet and cosy riad with only 4 rooms in a terrific location just near the main square.

Le riad est bien placé. Il se trouve à moins de 5 minutes de la célèbre place. Le personnel est adorable en particulier Abdoul qui est très serviable et toujours à l' écoute de la clientèle. Encore merci pour l' accueil. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux.

wenn ich in marrakech bin, komme ich immer wieder gerne hierher, fuehle mich wie zu hause...tolle lage, nur einige schritte bis zum platz und doch sehr ruhig gelegen, man hoert nur vogelgezwitscher im riad...reichhaltiges , gutes fruehstuck, bis hoffentlich bald wieder

Friendly Riad, great location, real Marrakech Small quiet friendly riad very close to the centre of the medina, Djemaa El Fna . Basic facilities ideal as a base for exploring. Good traditional feel. Only stayed one night but would have gladly stayed longer

Excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff Fully recommend this Riad as Abdul, the receptionist, is very friendly and helpful, he will give your a lot of tips and recommendations regarding prices if you are interested in shopping and also other information such as how much you should pay for transport around the city. We spent every evening chatting about Morocco, family and life in general. As we were going from Marrakesh to Casablanca, he offered to buy train tickets for us, to contact the hotel to find out at which station is better to get off and also how much we should pay for the taxi there. Also good clean rooms with private bathroom and the breakfast was amassing.

Heerlijk verblijf in Marokkaanse sferen met heel fijn personeel Van ontvangst tot aan vertrek hebben de personeelsleden keihard gewerkt om het ons zo comfortabel mogelijk te maken met een kleintje (<6m). Grote dank aan Abdellatif (zeer vriendelijk!) en Hanane (erg dienstbaar) en natuurlijk ook de andere personeelsleden. Niks is te veel gevraagd. Het ontbijt is voldoende (alhoewel wij rijkelijk gewend zijn te ontbijten). Je hebt de keuze om in de patio of op het dakterras te ontbijten tijdens de heerlijke ochtendzang van de vogels. Onze klein genoot er zeker van. De kamer is ruim genoeg (ook met een babybedje) en de badkamer (met bad in kamer 2) is netjes schoon. De kamer wordt op aanvraag in orde gemaakt. Wi-Fi werkt redelijk. De riad (met groene deur; niet te missen) is op een kleine loopafstand van het bekende Djam3 el Fna plein (5 min.) en goed te bereiken. Ook als wij s avonds laat (met een kleine) terugkeerden, was het veilig en goed belicht. Dit is overigens in Marrakesh niet overal het geval. Advies om op tijd terug te keren als je nog door donkere en smalle steegjes moet, er lopen ook ongure types met minder goede bedoelingen rond. Wees voorzichtig op het grote plein, maar ook in de zijstraten en steegjes (ook voor andere toeristen). We hebben voor onze neus zien gebeuren, dat er een smerige mislukte truck is uitgehaald om een echtpaar af te leiden en te bestelen. Het personeel beheerst meerdere talen uitstekend o.a. Engels, Frans en uiteraard ook Arabisch. Ze namen voor ons ongevraagd de moeite om te telefoneren, omdat wij lang hebben staan wachten op een excursiebegeleider. Toen kwam er ook heel snel actie en werden wij opgehaald. Wij arriveerden ruim voor de inchecktijd en kregen een heerlijke glas thee met gateaux aangeboden en natuurlijk een koud fles water (drink niet uit de kraan!). Onze bagage konden wij veilig achterlaten om in de tussentijd de omgeving een beetje te verkennen. De volgende keer komen wij in sha Allah zeker terug bij Riad Dar Tamlil. Nogmaals dank voor alle goede zorg! Niks op aan te merken. Alleen rekening houden dat de Riad niet tot aan de deur met de auto of taxi te bereiken is. Tegen de avond zeker niet. Je wordt wel netjes geholpen met jouw bagage als je aangeeft hoe laat je ongeveer arriveert.
