“Super freundlich”

“Loved it!”
Stayed here last year with friends and forgotten I'd not written a review! Comes highly recommended from us, we loved our 2 night stay here. Great location just a few minutes walk from the main square. All the noise, buzz and general craziness of Marrakesh cannot be heard once inside though, it's like a little oasis of peace in the midst of chaos! Can be a little tricky to find at first so best to arrange a transfer with the owner and someone will escort you to the property. The room was spacious, decorated in typical Moroccan style with comfy beds. We enjoyed our complimentary mint tea in the tranquillity of the courtyard and the delicious fresh breakfasts on the roof terrace. The terrace itself is a great sun trap and offers fantastic views of the city. The staff were welcoming and always helpful with providing information. There are many Riads in Marrakesh with an almost unlimited choice of places to stay but there's no need to look any further than this one.

“Gute Lage, sehr ruhig, freunfliches Personal”

“Great comfy riad”
It was a pleasure to spend the night there, we felt very welcome and safe. Abdul (I hope that was his name) was really friendly and extremely helpful! He even prepared us a small breakfast before we left early in the morning. The room was clean and comfy.

“Very nice Riad!”
Our stay in this Riad was super nice. Very friendly people, good breakfast on the terrace and a nice and clean room. Ist just 3min from the Jema El fna away what is very practical. I would definitely go back

Really friendly and helpful staff. Very secure riad and a peaceful escape from the madness of the Medina whilst being within a few minutes walk away. Perfectly clean as well. Overall, this is one of the best places I have ever stayed!

“Excelente riad, y de fácil acceso!!”
Altamente recomendable!

“Great location!”
Located very centrally, this was a great place to stay! The pastries as breakfast were good. I'd suggest going to Roti D'or for food - it's just a few minutes away. They took euros or dirhams as payment. Good wifi and good air con!

“Warm and cosy”
Very welcoming staff. Very reasonably priced with a nice breakfast. A lovely balcony upstairs to enjoy a calm moment away from the madness but still only a 5 minute walk from the Djemaa el Fna square.

The host was extremely friendly, the location is ideal (just a 3min walk from the main square) and the room and atrium seemed authentically Moroccan. I would recommend this riad 100%.

“absolutely amaze”
Warmest welcome from both Abdul and Hannan who looked after us. Abdul's wife made us her famous cous cous which was delicious and her harrir soup! Best soup we had in a 3 week tour of morocco! Abdul really make this place feel like home, always going out of his way to make sure we were happy. we stayed in 2 of the rooms over the course of 5 nights in total, both were big lovely rooms. I

“Very Good People working here”
When we first got to the area, this local showed us the way for money and took us to the wrong place and left us. We were able to call Riad Dar Tamlil and they sent somebody to walk us to the hotel. Then, we were warmly greeted with amazing mint tea and cookies. The next day they arranged a tour for us in the mountains-river and camel rides for a very good price. The hotel was clean and authentic. The bed was comfortable and the staff even shared their personal food with us. We came during Ramadan time...the time where everybody was fasting all day. We felt bad that they were not eating and we were, but they are such good people that they told us it is their practice and that we should not feel bad. It was just perfect and very close to the center or market. I cant say enough good things about this place. Definitely recommend this place if you are staying in Marrakech. The only thing is that all the Riads and hotels in this area are in scary looking allies but its a very old town that was made before cars existed. It is very safe, even though there is a lot of pushy vendors and people that ask for money but that is all of Marrakech except for the Dar Tamlil staff. They are very good people.
